I stumbled upon this page while searching the meaning of this symbol, as I, too, am seeing it. My 6 year old drew one (she meant to draw a person holding a heart with another heart inside, but it appears to be a winged heart. I saw it again as a pendant on the receptionist at the doctor’s office less than 2 weeks later. For whatever reason, I feel strongly pulled to this symbol. What have you found out about it?

I have always been drawn to the Winged Heart image, to Rumi and to Sufi dancing. I think this is a good doorway to spirituality and to another culture’s door to God. Thanks for bringing this imagery to the fore. Love you, dear. Mom xoxo

Well, I’d say the symbol means and points to love and freedom in so many ways…perhaps reflecting pointing at your own nature as a person as well. As for Me? The Sufi “way” has always been intriguing…
