you got something out of your visit! You have a great day

Antonia, I am moved to tears that you would pass this along to your readers. Thank you so much! I am happy to report that we now have commitments from Plant readers in the UK and USA for over two dozen handmade scarves (with some mittens thrown in for good measure!).
And we now have a generous commitment from the President of the Alpine Club of Pakistan to deliver the scarves to two very remote, not easily accessible villages in Northern Pakistan. These are children who would be very unlikely to normally receive this kind of support, so it's a special blessing on this project. Anyone interested in joining us can email me at joyblog (at) aol.com and I will add you to our list! November 1st is the deadline for scarves being ready to be boxed and shipped to Pakistan. Remember: five feet long, one foot wide. Your choice of colors and yarns. Crocheted or knitted! Thank you! Kathryn xooox
