I have fond memories of honoring the Dutch traditions and putting out the shoes for Sinterklaasje! So fun! And the first early sightings of Sinterklaas arrived in A'dam and those Dutch parades will always live among my treasured memories. The earthy Dutch always made even their myths and stories so grounded and real. Sigh. Love the Dutch. And thank you for reminding me of the chocolate letters! That one I had forgotten!
